About Us
Amigos de Fuente Nueva (AFN) is Fuente Nueva Charter School’s Parent-Teacher Organization.  The role of AFN is to help support Fuente Nueva's mission to empower students to become engaged world citizens through a challenging and creative Spanish immersion program that emphasizes academic excellence, the arts, community involvement, and social responsibility.

Money raised through AFN funds enrichment activities, multicultural assemblies and programs, field trips, teacher's stipends, technology for the classrooms, campus enhancements,  after school clubs and much more!

AFN’s success over the years is due to the commitments and efforts of all our families at Fuente Nueva and with every new year we need new members.  We are always looking for new board members to join our all-parent-volunteer team.

Returning to pre-covid activities demands pre-covid fundraising goals.  We need a committed team to help us reach and sustain those goals for years to come.  Please consider joining us for our monthly meeting, or email us at with a note about yourself and how you see yourself engaging with fundraising.

This is a great opportunity to engage with the school community!

Our regular meetings are open to all and are generally held on the third Tuesday of each  month, starting at 6:00 pm, on Zoom.  Please email for the zoom link to attend, or check your weekly teacher newsletter.
